I have had to stop doing my workout in the last weeks because I have been feeling a lot of pain in my joints especially my left knee. I had to end my last workout abruptly cos I could barely move! Nevertheless to say I was gutted but better to be safe than sorry. I limped for a few days, go up the 10 flights at work was a struggle but I preserved – I just couldn’t bring myself to take the lift!
I put the pain down to doing the work outs wrongly but I have now discovered this was not. My doctor referred to the hospital for blood tests, cut a long story the results showed I had low vitamin D. So much for been healthy I forgot to take into account how much to eat per week in the food groups. For example, fish which is the one I really to eat as I am not really big on fish. It turns the Paleo diet may actually help me achieve this as meat and other foods rich in iron/protein form part of what my body needs. Like I mentioned in my last I will be mixing my foods I am not sticking to a particular diet.
So I will from now on be a more strict menu plan making sure I eat more fish, meat and other recommended foods twice a week. Hmm, looks like I am going to have some kind of food time table, lol.
