Falling off the wagon

Confession time I have been a naughty – eating a lot of unhealthy foods in the last month, I blame the weather, lol.  Well that is my excuse which is why I always have two weights, I go a lot lighter in the summer to make ‘allowance’ for the winter as I know I will need the extra weight to keep warm. In spite of this, I stick to healthy eating, exercising as much as possible, keeping to my target weight which is just under 9½ stone (sorry if this sounds confusing to those who use pounds but this is what works for me) , so I don’t have any ‘tightness’ round my waist. I suppose what I am trying to say is not losing track of my weight or allowing unhealthy eating to take over including have will power, basically getting back on the healthy eating/living as soon as possible. The most important thing  is not beating myself up, knowing I am human.

 I had my Health check recently, I came out tops again. Well I don’t have a choice I will hate to fail as I am passionate about healthy eating/living. However, I have been told I need to have a bit saturated fat and more omega – I am not really big on fish but I am trying, I am having salmon  in my bagel today. However, I do think having 5 pieces nuts a day is unrealistic, I will want to eat the whole bag so I am passing on that and will happily settle for supplements. Following the results I have installed a Diet Coach app on my Kindle, it helps me track of my eating habits, exercise, goals, etc. I can set reminders with options of every few hours, daily or weekly, needless to say I have gone for the weekly option so I can journal my activities, daily is unrealistic as I have a busy schedule. I can say it has worked as the alters have been a great help, I can record my activities on the go usually on the commute to work on public transport – modern technology is great!

  hope this article has helped in some way. I just wanted you to see that I am not perfect that I will stumble sometimes, so don’t feel bad if you have lapsed, pick yourself up and get back on the horse, quitting is not an option!!
